Typhon is the second-in-command of the Army of Thieves.

History[]

Early History[]

Some time after he turned 18, the man who would later be known as Typhon joined the United States Army Rangers.

Some time into his service, Typhon killed a fellow Ranger who was going to report him for an off-base incident. Typhon's actions were discovered, however, and as a result he was discharged and sentenced to Leavenworth Prison.

During Typhon's sentence, he was approached by the CIA operative Marius Calderon, who wanted to recruit him to help run a fake terrorist army which would be used to secure America's position as the most dominant superpower by destroying China. Typhon, seeing himself as a patriotic American, agreed, and so Calderon had Typhon released soon afterwards.

Typhon, acting as Calderon's second-in-command, participated in the first attacks perpetrated by the Army of Thieves to recruit men and obtain weapons. After freeing 102 prisoners from a UN prison camp in the Sudan, Typhon was instructed by Calderon (who for the sake of keeping his identity secret called himself the Lord of Anarchy) in how to brutally initiate them to ensure their loyalty. Typhon branded the men with the Army's signature and then had them drugged and forced to watch hours of horrific acts such as murder, rape and torture. As a result, the men obeyed both the Lord of Anrachy and Typhon (only because of their fear of the latter).
