History
Before Area 7
At some point during his career, Captain Luther Willis earned the call-sign Python. He also worked alongside Charles "Caesar" Russell, and may have also been a member of the racist hate group, the Brotherhood.
Python would be assigned Captain of the 7th Squadron's Charlie unit, and became primarily based at Area 7 to guard Project Fortune.
When Caesar decided to plan a coup against the American government and revert the country to a pre-Civil war state, Python agreed to join him.
After Dr Gunther Botha was successful in creating a vaccine to the Sinovirus using the genetically-engineered boy Kevin, Python and all the other staff members of Area 7 were innoculated to prevent infection from the latest Sinovirus strain.
Area 7
Caesar decided to initiate his coup against the President when the Commander-in-Chief came to Area 7 to see the progress of Project Fortune. Python and his Charlie unit men were in the ground level hanger when the coup began, taking out several of the President's staff and the Marines. Charlie unit began pursuing the Marines Schofield, Gant, Mother and Brainiac down a ventilation shaft, and were briefly misled as to which cross-vent they used before Caesar's radio-men located them.
Python and his men prepared to storm the AWACs plane the Marines were hiding in, and Python ordered a pair of Avengers to be brought in to damage the plane. Even as Cobra and his Echo unit arrived to assist, the Marines began driving the plane through the hanger, causing havoc before driving into the elevator shaft. Python, Cobra and their units began flushing through the lower levels of the base in attempts to find the President,
After Botha and his Reccondos escaped with Kevin toward Lake Powell, Caesar order Python and Charlie unit to pursue and retrieve the boy. Using their Penetrators and spotter Super Stallion to reach the lake, Python and his men interupted Schofield's own pursuit of Botha, killing off most of the Reccondos. Python's men managed to kill Botha and retrieve Kevin, and remained at the lake long enough to ensure that Schofield and Book II were presumed drowned in the Super Stallion.
Python and his remaining men returned to Area 7, using the top door to enter the base. However they were stopped at the elevator shaft by Cobra and his men, who claimed to have come to assist them in securing the boy. However when Python became suspicious of the pressence of the Chinese spies, Echo unit simply killed Python and his men before taking Kevin.
Python, however, remained alive long enough to scrawl the letter 'E' in his own blood, which when Caesar found their bodies allowed him to realise that Echo had gone rogue.
