Luxor is a city in Egypt, housing many ancient temples. Among them is the Tomb of Alexander the Great, which itself houses the topmost piece of the Golden Capstone.

Fictional History[]

Seven Ancient Wonders[]

After Alexander the Great died, he was buried in a tomb his long-time ally Ptolemy I had commissioned near Luxor. Because he had arranged for the seven component Pieces of the Golden Capstone to be hidden with or near the constructs that would become known as the seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Alexander's tomb at Luxor would also serve as the hiding place for the Great Pyramid of Giza Piece, the top-most Piece of the Capstone.

After Ptolemy's workers laid traps through to the entrance, they concealed it so well that only a pair of obelisks at the nearby Luxor would reveal it on the day of the Tartarus sunspot event, wherein the sun's rays would shine through two obelisks.

Over time, Luxor would come to be a popular tourist spot, even as one of the obelisks was relocated to Paris, and the historians and archaeologists who would examine the site would fail to notice the tomb entrance nearby.

When Marshall Judah was searching for the topmost piece of the Capstone, the CIEF went to Luxor to search for Alexander's tomb.
